Don't pass this book up, it made a difference in our life. The reader understands the diagram of a bully and what kind of a family they come from. I picked this book up in desperation to help my daughter who had been suffering for over two years at the hands of a bully. The Bully, the Bullied and the Bystander is a powerful tool in finding effective solutions for parents and school administrators dealing with this day to day nightmare. From poetic charm to straight forward talk the author is truthful and factual in her approach to this horrific problem in our schools today.
It is comprehensive, practical and well researched. I highly recommend this book for any teachers, administrators, parents and anyone who works with children and/or teenagers. It is an invaluable resource. This book is excellent. I was a school administrator for 30 years and now I write books and train teachers.
great book for educators, parents and anyone who wants to understand bullying and help break the cycle.
Thank you for the book, it will come in handy for when I start teaching. I appreciate the prompt and honest service.
Bullying is a bigger issue than most of us would like to believe, but this book will open your eyes and show you what you can do make a difference whether at home or at school. I work with teens-girls mostly-and the info in this book is invaluable to anybody working with kids or teens today. Kate Whitfield, author of The Empowered Gal's 9 Life Lessons: Keys, Tips, Strategies, Advice & Everything You Need to Know to be a Confident, Successful, in Control Gal I had the pleasure of not only meeting Barbara but watching her speak a few weeks ago. I was blown away by her presentation, ideas and solutions to the bullying epidemic.
